CRH is seeking a Construction Operations Intern - Roadways to gain hands-on experience in the road construction industry through field and office assignments. You will work alongside safety, quality control, project managers, superintendents and road crews to understand project execution.

• Interest in heavy construction such as site-work, roads or environmental.
• Willingness to gain practical experience in field and office settings.

Responsibilities

• Learn about sourcing, bidding and the build process for construction projects.
• Collaborate with estimators during the bidding process.
• Set up contracts and subcontracts.
• Assist plant operators and maintenance of asphalt plants.
• Support foremen and crews in job setup and prep.
• Understand job cost, workload, scheduling and basic financial concepts.
