Hensel Phelps is seeking a Laborer to support concrete operations and form carpenters on a construction project. You will help with excavation, grading, and material handling, ensuring a safe, efficient worksite.

The role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced setting. A valid driver’s license and safety footwear are required, with opportunities for growth within a respected, employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Follow safe work practices per safety program.
• Take initiative and ask questions.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Provide your own safety footwear.
• Communicate effectively with team and stakeholders.
• Strong mathematical reasoning and quantitative skills.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Must have reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement including dirt/rock excavation and grading.
• Assemble concrete forms and assist in placing panels.
• Manage concrete bucket transfers from truck to placement area.
• Strip and transport forms after concrete cures.
• Assist finishers with power trowels and screeds.
• Support masons with handling bags of cement, lime, sand, and grout.
• Assist carpenters with moving and placing door frames.
• Load, unload, and identify materials, tools, and equipment on site.
• Maintain a safe jobsite and secure materials at day end.
