Job summary

Hensel Phelps is hiring a Construction Laborer to provide support across trades on active projects. You will assist concrete operations, form setup, material handling, and basic carpentry tasks while maintaining site safety and housekeeping.

The role requires strong physical stamina, reliable attendance, and the ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment. OSHA guidelines and PPE are expected on site.

Qualifications

• General safety practices required on construction sites.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with skilled trades.
• Demanding physical tasks and long periods of standing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement and finish work areas.
• Assemble forms and assist in placing form panels.
• Move materials and equipment around the site.
• Support concrete finishers and handling power trowels.
• Assist masons with bags of cement, lime, sand, and grout.
• Help carpenters with door frames and framing tasks.
• Load/unload materials and ensure site cleanliness and safety.
• Assist in securing the jobsite and reporting hazards.
