Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Laborer to support form carpenters, concrete operations, and masons on a construction project. The role is safety-sensitive and involves manual lifting, shoveling, and assisting skilled trades across the site.

Ideal candidates have a High School/GED, a valid driver’s license, and a proven ability to work safely with teamwork and attention to detail. OSHA 10 or CPR/First Aid are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Follow safe work practices in accordance with safety program.
• Must be able to take initiative and ask questions.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Workers must provide their own safety footwear.

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement and final excavation.
• Assemble concrete forms and assist in placement.
• Handle concrete bucket and distribute concrete in slabs.
• Strip forms after curing and transport them for storage.
• Assist finishers with power trowels and screeds.
• Support masons with materials and stocking blocks/worksite supplies.
• Assist carpenters with door frames transport and placement.
• Distribute site materials according to plans and keep the site clean.
• Promote safety and secure the jobsite at end of day.
