Mortenson is seeking a Laborer to assist with preparation, handling, and supplying materials for multiple crafts on our projects. The role emphasizes safe, efficient material flow and active collaboration with diverse teams to keep work progressing. Key duties include loading/unloading, scaffolding setup, leveling ground, tending mortar and grout, moving materials between wheelbarrows and buckets, and maintaining a clean site. A two-year apprenticeship and construction experience are preferred.
Qualifications
Completion of a two-year apprenticeship is required.
Experience in construction preferred.
Ability to operate power and hand tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
Load and unload equipment.
Erect and dismantle scaffolding and staging.
Level ground for scaffolding.
Tend mortar and grout; handle concrete work.
Move materials with wheelbarrows and buckets.
Clean up debris and maintain a safe site.
Vibrate concrete.
Collaborate with diverse teams.
