Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Laborer to support the Laborer team with material handling, equipment setup, and workspace preparation on construction sites. Responsibilities include loading and unloading equipment, delivering materials, and maintaining clean work areas.

Ideal candidates have construction experience, the ability to operate tools, and a strong safety mindset. The position offers well-grounded hourly pay and benefits with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Construction experience preferred.
• Able to operate power and non-powered tools and equipment.
• Team-oriented with good communication and safety awareness.
• Lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance for heavier).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment.
• Prepare, handle, and supply materials and tools to be used by other crafts.
• Clean work area, machines, and equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and staging.
• Level ground for scaffolding.
• Tend motor and grout: lift, unload, move, set, and shovel between wheelbarrows and buckets.
• General cleanup and debris removal; sweeping, washing, loading or burning as needed.
• Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete; vibrate concrete.
