Job summary

Mortenson is hiring a Laborer to assist with material handling, equipment assembly and dismantling, and site preparation. The role involves cleaning work areas, supporting other crafts with tools, and assisting with scaffolding setup and demolition.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and be prepared to travel to project sites as required. Experience in construction and strong teamwork are valued, with safety and reliability at the core of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction preferred.
• Ability to operate power and non-powered tools such as vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers.
• Strong teamwork orientation and communication skills; active listening and feedback welcome.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs. with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment.
• Prepare and supply materials and tools for other crafts.
• Clean work areas, machines, and equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and staging; level ground for scaffolding.
• Move and place concrete; vibrate concrete.
• Travel to project sites as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
