Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Construction Laborer to support paving and construction projects. The role involves moving between tasks, assisting the crew with shovel work, and helping to maintain a safe work site on active job sites.

Qualified candidates should be able to follow safety policies, withstand long periods of standing, and lift up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with prior construction experience advantageous; willingness to travel and work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous related construction experience.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment per policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
• Assist crew with shoveling, raking, and material handling.
• Signal operators to position equipment and materials as needed.
• Follow Foreman instructions for daily tasks and expectations.
• May operate small power tools as required.
