Texas Materials, a CRH company, is hiring a General Laborer in Smithfield, UT to support construction and paving projects with hands-on duties including shoveling, material handling, and assisting crew.

Responsibilities emphasize safety, following OSHA/MSHA regulations, teamwork, and willingness to travel and work nights/weekends. Must be 18+ and able to pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous related experience in construction.
• Ability to read, write, and do basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working practices.
• Assist construction/paving crew with duties such as shoveling, raking, and wheelbarrow work.
• Signal operators of equipment to assist alignment and material handling.
• Follow Foreman directions for daily tasks and project-specific expectations.
• Occasionally operate small power tools as needed.
• Digs, spreads, and levels construction materials.
• Lift, carry, and move materials and tools as required.
• Assist in placement and dismantling of traffic control devices.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
