Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a dependable Laborer to join our team in Texas. The role involves performing a variety of physical tasks to support daily operations, including site preparation, material handling, equipment cleanup, and general labor duties.

This position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability, with responsibilities spanning tool use, maintaining work areas, and adhering to OSHA guidelines. A GED or high school diploma and construction experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous related experience in the construction field.
• Familiarity with concrete placement and finishing techniques.
• Experience operating construction tools and equipment.
• OSHA 10 certification or other safety training.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks to support daily operations and projects.
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and maintenance.
• Operate hand and power tools in a safe manner.
• Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and facilities.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Work effectively with supervisors and team members to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist skilled tradespersons and equipment operators as needed.
• Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and incidents to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
