Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking Laborers to support skilled trades on concrete and structural work. You will assist form carpenters, concrete operations, masons, ironworkers, and finishers—while maintaining a safety-first mindset on a dynamic construction site.

Responsibilities include area preparation, form assembly, material handling, and site housekeeping. Candidates must have a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and be able to work safely in a demanding environment.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Follow safety practices per the company program.
• Take initiative and ask questions.

• Provide own safety footwear.
• Must communicate effectively with coworkers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement and final excavation.
• Assemble and place concrete forms and assist in placement.
• Move concrete using buckets and muck slabs for even spread.
• Strip forms after concrete cures and transport for storage.
• Assist finishers with power trowels and screeds.
• Support masons with handling bags of cement, lime, sand, and grout.
• Assist carpenters with door frames transport and placement.
• Load and identify materials and keep site organized and swept.
• Promote safety and secure the jobsite at day end, store materials properly.
