Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Laborer to provide support to skilled trades on active construction projects. You will help with concrete work, form assembly, material handling, and site organization on a safety-sensitive site in Fort Worth, TX.

Responsibilities include assisting concrete finishers, masons, and carpenters, loading materials, and maintaining a clean, safe jobsite. Ability to lift heavy loads, follow instructions, and communicate effectively is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Follow safe work practices per safety program.
• Must take initiative and ask questions.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Safety footwear required.
• Communicate effectively with team and stakeholders.
• Strong mathematical reasoning and quantitative skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Must have reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement through excavation and grading.
• Assemble concrete forms and assist in placing form panels.
• Operate the concrete bucket with crane assistance and spread concrete evenly.
• Strip forms after curing and transport forms for storage.
• Assist finishers with power trowels and screeds for concrete surfaces.
• Support masons with loading bricks and cement.
• Assist carpenters with door frames transport and placement.
• Distribute materials on site per project plans.
• Promote a safe work environment and secure the jobsite daily.
