Job summary

Hensel Phelps is hiring laborers to support skilled trades on projects nationwide, with duties in Fort Worth, TX. You will assist concrete prep, form work, material handling, and coordination with masons, carpenters, and finishers on active construction sites.

Qualified applicants have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment.

• Follow safe work practices per safety program.
• Must take initiative and ask questions.

• Workers must provide their own safety footwear.

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement and final grading of floors.
• Assemble concrete forms and assist in placing form panels.
• Move concrete bucket from crane and muck concrete evenly.
• Strip forms after curing and transport them for storage.
• Assist finishers with power trowels and screeds.
• Support block masons by handling cement, lime, sand, and grout.
• Help carpenters transport and set door frames.
• Load/unload materials and keep site organized and swept.
• Promote safety and secure the jobsite at day's end.
