Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Laborer to assist with material handling, equipment preparation, and work-area cleanup on construction projects.

The role involves loading/unloading, supplying tools, erecting scaffolding, and assisting craft teams. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work well in a team, with attention to safety and quality. This is an on-site position with travel per project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort with repetitive movements.
• Team-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment.
• Prepare, handle, and supply materials and tools.
• Clean work area, machines, and equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and staging.
• Level ground for scaffolding.
• Move and position materials as needed.
• Dispose of debris and manage clean-up.
• Place and move concrete as required.
• Support diverse teams on site.
