Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Laborer to support material handling and supply for other crafts. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, erecting scaffolding, leveling ground, and tending mortar and grout. The role requires teamwork and the ability to operate tools such as pumps, drills, and jackhammers.

Applicants should have completed a two-year apprenticeship with construction experience preferred. Lifting up to 50 lbs is required; work may involve varying duties and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a two-year apprenticeship.
• Experience in construction preferred.
• Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers.
• Strong teamwork, positive attitude, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and staging.
• Level ground for scaffolding.
• Tend mortar and grout.
• Move mortar and grout between wheelbarrows and buckets.
• General cleanup and debris removal.
• Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete.
• Vibrate concrete.
• Build relationships across diverse backgrounds and levels.
• All other duties as assigned.
