Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college and entering junior or senior year.
• Pursuing a degree related to the internship area (e.g., business, technology, construction, real estate, or related fields).
• Demonstrated interest in learning about career opportunities within homebuilding and related functions.
• Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a professional team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to learn new software and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations within the assigned department, division, office, field location, jobsite, or business function.
• Assist with department-specific projects, research, reporting, administrative activities, coordination, systems, and other business needs.
• Learn and apply departmental responsibilities, industry terminology, business systems, policies, safety requirements, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to understand how areas support homebuilding and customer experience.
• Participate in training programs, meetings, rotations, and other learning opportunities.
• Explore career opportunities within D.R. Horton and affiliated businesses for future full-time employment.
