Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited four‑year college or university and entering junior or senior year, or recently graduated.
• Pursuing a degree or coursework related to the internship area.
• Demonstrated interest in learning about career opportunities within homebuilding or related functions.
• Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with professional interaction.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations within the assigned department, division, office, field location, jobsite, or business function.
• Assist with department‑specific projects, research, reporting, administrative activities, coordination efforts, systems, processes, and other business needs assigned.
• Learn and apply departmental responsibilities, industry terminology, business systems, and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members and cross‑functional departments to understand how various areas support homebuilding and customer experience.
• Participate in training programs, meetings, rotations, and other learning opportunities to enhance knowledge of the company and potential career paths.
• Explore career opportunities within D.R. Horton and affiliated businesses that may lead to future full‑time employment.
• Conduct all business in a professional, ethical, and respectful manner.
