Job summary

Zurich North America seeks a Strategic Relationship Leader to join the Customer Relationship Management team in the West Region. You will partner with senior executives, brokers, and stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and drive profitable growth across Construction-focused markets.

You will work with underwriting, claims, risk engineering, and service teams to shape customer strategy, lead executive reviews, and deliver superior client experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of experience in Relationship Management or related field.
• Demonstrated success managing and growing profitable external customer relationships.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
• Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Significant Commercial Insurance Construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship strategist for a portfolio of large, high-value customers and prospects.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite executives, risk managers, brokers, and key decision-makers.
• Develop and execute customer engagement strategies that drive retention, profitability, and long-term growth.
• Identify opportunities to expand Zurich's solutions and capabilities across domestic and global operations.
• Lead executive business reviews, stewardship meetings, and strategic planning sessions for key customers.
• Partner with underwriting, claims, risk engineering, service, and distribution teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Create compelling value propositions that align Zurich's capabilities with customer business objectives.
• Leverage market insights, customer intelligence, and analytics to identify opportunities and strengthen account strategies.
• Coordinate internal resources and leadership engagement to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
• Travel as needed to support customer relationships and business objectives.
