Job summary

TRADE TOOLS INC in Mendota Heights, MN seeks a Construction Sales Inside Sales Support Specialist to assist the outside sales team, manage quotations, process orders, and coordinate project information while delivering outstanding customer service throughout the sales cycle.

The role requires 2+ years in inside sales or customer service within construction-related industries, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or sales support experience, preferably in construction, building materials, industrial supply, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of construction products, materials, or project workflows is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support outside sales representatives with administrative and sales-related activities.
• Prepare and manage customer quotes, bids, proposals, and project estimates.
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and order status.
• Coordinate with purchasing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery.
• Follow up on quotations and assist with lead generation activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
