Job summary

Aon is seeking an Account Executive II to join our Construction & Infrastructure team in Chicago. This hybrid role requires 2–3 days onsite weekly, with consideration for applicants in multiple Midwest markets.

You will work with experienced professionals to manage complex indemnity structures and risk analysis for high-level construction clients. You’ll develop coverage strategies, respond to client needs, and maintain documentation for renewals and new business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
• Must obtain Property & Casualty license within four months of hire (90 days).
• 7+ years of Property & Casualty insurance experience, ideally Construction Surety Bonds.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior team members to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewals and new business.
• Respond promptly to client requests and service needs.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for new business and renewals.
• Analyze client risk exposures; present tailored marketing proposals.
• Build relationships with underwriting community and partner markets.
• Process and issue policies, endorsements, and cancellations as applicable.
• Review documents for signatures and distribute materials as needed.
• Calculate premium adjustments and other related figures.
