Job summary

Knight Const. & Supply, Inc. is seeking a qualified Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and policy compliance.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will maintain HR records, ensure compliance with laws, coordinate recruitment, and assist with leaves while fostering a positive workplace culture in a busy construction environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a Human Resources role is required.
• PHR or SHRM-CP highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience in construction/Federal Contractor environment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of HR, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and policy compliance.
• Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HRIS data.
• Coordinate recruiting activities, including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, and candidate communications.
• Administer leave programs and assist with benefits enrollment.
• Back up HR Manager and promote company values.
