Job summary

Knight Const. & Supply, Inc. in Deer Park, WA seeks an HR Generalist to support daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and policy compliance.

This role partners with management to foster a positive workplace and ensure federal, state, and local employment laws are followed. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in HR, familiarity with HRIS systems, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a Human Resources role.
• PHR or SHRM-CP highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience in construction or Federal Contractor environments is a plus.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Support daily HR operations including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, policy compliance, and HR recordkeeping.
• Coordinate recruiting activities: postings, screening, interviews, and candidate communications.
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation.
• Administer leaves and benefits enrollment, and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain HRIS data and employee files; assist with events and communications.
