Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for Construction Operations in Plano, TX. This is a full-time contractual role for 6 months, intended to align HR strategy with construction operations and drive workforce initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 5+ years HR Generalist/HRBP experience in construction, and strong knowledge of change management and labor laws. Proficiency in MS Office and HR software is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience overseeing a workforce of 500–1200 within a construction environment.
Understanding of change management practices and strategies to reduce risk.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, SharePoint, and HR software.

Responsibilities

Supports the organization by communicating and implementing HR programs, practices and initiatives that contribute to the success of the business and individual team members.
Understands the organization's mission, products/services and customers to achieve strategic HR alignment.
Provides counsel to management and oversees investigations, performance management, disciplinary actions and terminations.
Ensures management is aware of policies and laws when making decisions impacting team members and ensures compliance with labor laws.
