Job summary

NEFCO is seeking an energetic outside sales professional in Minnesota to develop and manage both existing and new customers, selling products and services to achieve sales and profitability goals. The role requires calling on commercial construction job sites and contractor offices.

You will travel daily across your assigned territory, own the customer relationship, present catalogs and submittal materials, collaborate with inside sales, and participate in sales meetings to forecast activity.

• Must have valid driver’s license and driving record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Daily rigorous travel to commercial construction jobsites and contractor offices.
• Represent the company professionally with customers and prospects in territory.
• Own day-to-day customer relationships and service; deliver as needed.
• Regular sales calls to customers and prospects in an economical order.
• Introduce new products and collaborate with Vendor Reps and NEFCO Sales Management.
• Assist inside sales during quote/order processes.
• Develop strong working relationship with inside sales team.
• Follow up on quotes and support large opportunities with Sales Management.
• Share competitive information to drive strong quoting activity.
• Identify prospects using databases and industry networks; leverage CRM for activity tracking.
• Utilize catalogs and marketing literature to present to customers.
• Understand spec sheets and submittal requirements for key jobsites.
• Attend sales meetings and product trainings; assist with delinquent accounts as needed.
• Contribute to sales plans and territory forecasting with Regional Manager.
• Always represent NEFCO professionally; flexible scheduling for site calls.
