Job summary

NEFCO is seeking an outside sales representative to develop and manage relationships with existing customers and new prospects in the Maine area. You will travel to commercial construction job sites and contractor offices to drive sales of NEFCO products and services.

The role requires calling on job sites, maintaining strong customer relations, and collaborating with inside sales to quote and fulfill orders. A valid driver's license and sales experience in construction supply are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily in assigned territory to commercial construction sites and contractor offices.
• Develop and manage relationships with current and new customers to achieve sales goals.
• Represent the company professionally with customers and prospects.
• Lead in the quote/order process with inside sales support.
• Utilize CRM to record activities and manage follow-ups.
• Identify prospective customers using market intelligence and business directories.
• Attend sales meetings and product training as required.
