Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an estimator to support cost planning on construction projects in Bellevue, WA. You will perform takeoffs, cost analyses, and prepare OPCCs for design-build efforts, coordinating with PMs and subcontractors to ensure pricing integrity.

You will also contribute to schedule development, change management, and project controls, using Timberline and other industry tools, while helping ensure project success from pre-bid through execution.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform cost estimating tasks including quantity takeoffs and cost research.
• Experience preparing Opinions of Probable Cost (OPCC) for design-build projects.
• Ability to develop and manage baseline schedules and related cost/ECAC analyses.
• Familiarity with project controls, RFIs, change orders, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks and cost research.
• Prepare OPCCs and assist in cost design build projects.
• Coordinate with project managers on pricing, subcontractor quotes and procurement.
• Develop or assist in work breakdown structures and scheduling baselines.
• Support QA/QC and health & safety documentation for project sites.
