Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced estimator/project controls professional to support diverse construction projects in the Stamford area. You will handle cost estimates, scheduling, and coordination with field teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and about 3 years of experience, with travel up to 10% as needed. You will work with BIM/VDC tools and collaborate across disciplines to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review OPCCs and design-build cost estimates.
• Develop detailed baseline schedules and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Coordinate with project team to manage budgets, schedules, and change orders.
• Assist with RFI processing, submittals, and QA/QC documentation.
• Support project controls, including earned value and progress reporting.
