Job summary

Ally Construction Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Estimator to analyze and price construction projects ranging from $100K to $30M. You will prepare conceptual budgets, bids, and pricing while coordinating with architects, subcontractors, and project teams.

The role requires travel up to 3 days regionally and a Bachelor’s in Construction Engineering or Management or equivalent work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam and Premier are a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent estimating and budgeting skills.
• Strong communication and financial analysis abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Blue Beam and Premier are a plus.
• Experience with Lean Construction practices is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record required for company business.

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans and drawings thoroughly.
• Identify omitted items and ensure full scope in estimates.
• Prepare conceptual estimates, bids, budgets, and pricing analyses.
• Share subcontractor and supplier information to support pricing.
• Assist PMs with subcontractor bidding and scheduling.
• Develop conceptual project schedules from subcontract input.
• Maintain cost databases and bidder databases.
• Occasional regional travel to the Northeastern US, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
