Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Construction Estimator in diverse sectors.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and cost estimation software.
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Knowledge of construction materials and processes.
• Professional certification from ASPE or similar preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for a range of construction projects.
• Evaluate blueprints, specs, and proposals to estimate time, cost, and labor.
• Consult with clients, vendors, and foremen to discuss estimates.
• Conduct site visits to gather data for cost estimation.
• Prepare and present cost reports to management and clients.
• Analyze completed projects to explain discrepancies between estimates and actuals.
