The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction estimation, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with estimating tools, reading drawings, and delivering under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation for hospitals, higher education, schools, commercial, and government projects.
• Proficiency with cost estimating software and strong numerical ability.
• Excellent communication, and ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects across many sectors.
• Analyze blueprints, specs, proposals to estimate time, cost, and labor.
• Visit sites to gather data and validate estimates.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on cost estimates.
• Review materials and labor to decide buy vs. produce decisions.
• Maintain supplier/subcontractor directory and cost monitoring systems.
• Present estimates to clients and stakeholders and track trends in the industry.
