You will prepare documentation, support material controls, develop data for estimates, and create drawings supporting changes and bids.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office products and scheduling tools.
• Ability to interpret drawings and apply specifications to on-site work.
• Ability to perform trig calculations and communicate effectively with teams.
• Commitment to safety and company Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
• Interpret design/drawings for craft workers installing material to ensure specifications are followed.
• Interface with on-site departments to resolve problems and support project progress.
• Prepare documentation records, punch lists, and material requirement calculations.
• Provide technical support for project material controls and construction schedules.
• Prepare drawings and sketches to support changes, estimates, and changing requirements.
• Develop data on quantities, materials, labor, and equipment for estimates and bids.
• Research historical data to develop guidelines for future estimates.
• May supervise project staff and represent the company in client/project meetings.
