Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an experienced estimator to join our project teams in the United States. You will perform cost estimates, prepare OPCCs, and support bid activities across a range of construction projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design and field teams, rigorous data analysis, and timely communication of estimates, schedules, and change impacts. You will help ensure project success through accurate budgeting and proactive cost management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks, including quantity take-offs.
• Utilize Timberline to prepare Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC).
• Research historical data and compile reports to develop guidelines for future estimates.
• Coordinate pricing, subcontracts, and bids with project managers and procurement teams.
• Prepare project scheduling and financial analyses for routine reporting.
