Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States is seeking an estimator to contribute to project bids across various construction types. You will perform quantity take-offs, price lists, and research costs, using Timberline to prepare Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC) for design-build projects, and support pre-bid walks.

You will coordinate with project managers and procurement, manage subcontractor pricing, prepare reports, and assist with change management, field allocations, and QA/QC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage cost estimates and OPCCs for construction projects.
• Coordinate with project teams on schedules, budgets, and procurements.
• Assist with change management, RFIs, and bid-day preparations.
• Support QA/QC and safety documentation to ensure quality estimates.
