Job summary

HOLT CAT is seeking a Sales Representative - General Construction to drive machine sales in Tyler, Texas. You will prospect, win new accounts, and grow existing business in agricultural, ranching, and contractor markets.

This role requires collaborating with the sales team to meet territorial goals and uphold company values while onsite with customers. The position demands extensive travel, long hours, and a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and accurate reporting to support sales

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or related degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of related sales experience; six years preferred.
• Knowledge of CAT products and inventory management is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify and initiate contact with potential buyers to meet sales goals.
• Source and grow sales with new business opportunities and develop customers.
• Promote products and services to current customers and expand the base.
• Create and submit accurate sales reports and forecasts; meet key metrics.
• Travel to customer locations and work extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
