Job summary

HOLT CAT in Edinburg, TX is seeking a Sales Representative – General Construction to drive new business and manage a defined territory, selling, leasing, or renting CAT machine products to agricultural, ranching, and general contractor customers. You will join the MAC sales team and pursue growth with a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework; Bachelor's in Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum three years of related experience; six+ years preferred for seniority.
• Ability to build long-term customer relationships and meet sales targets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new customers in agricultural, ranching, and general contractor markets.
• Sell, lease purchase, or rent CAT machine products in the defined territory.
• Maintain relationships and grow sales with new and existing customers.
• Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts; meet key performance metrics.
• Travel to customer locations; ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill customer needs.
