Job summary

Bejac Corporation, a family-owned heavy construction equipment dealer with locations across Arizona, California and Nevada, seeks an experienced sales representative in the Phoenix area. You will perform sales duties under the direction of the sales manager, from prospecting to close.

The role emphasizes visiting job sites and offices, following up with customers on rentals, sales, parts and service, and promoting new products and specials.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information.
• A valid driver’s license and current DMV record is required for company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Call on new customers on job sites, offices and telephone marketing.
• Call on current customer base to ensure ongoing business.
• Complete and turn-in call reports, daily activity logs and top-ten status reports for review.
• Complete sales process from prospect to close.
• Follow-up with customers to service rental, sale, parts and service needs and promote these services.
• Inform customers of new products, specials and additional services.
• Work with sales staff to exchange leads and strategies for getting business.
• Stay informed of upcoming customer jobs and needs.
• Other duties as requested.
