Job summary

Empire Southwest in Arizona is seeking a disciplined Rental Sales professional to canvass a defined territory, generate rental and sales leads, and rent equipment on a profitable basis. The role emphasizes field visits, accurate reporting, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of CAT products and fleet availability.

You will work with an empowered team to meet rental fleet utilization goals, attend on-site customer sites, and build long-term customer relationships while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Rental Sales.
• Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.

Responsibilities

• Canvases assigned geographic territory to obtain rental revenue and sales leads from existing and potential customers.
• Visits job sites to identify new opportunities and collects customer contact information.
• Generates call reports for each customer interface and enters information into Upshot.
• Communicates qualified information to the account manager and Rental Manager.
• Maintains current call lists and rental agreement records for follow up on the job site.
• Identifies call frequency based on customer needs, volume, and requirements.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of CAT products and services and pricing.
• Plans customer contacts and activities to optimize efficiency.
• Rents equipment on a profitable basis as measured by gross profit on rental contracts.
