Job summary

Dynamic Equipment Group in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced Service Manager to lead our service team. You will direct shop and field operations, manage work orders, schedule equipment movement, and ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication and efficient processes.

The ideal candidate combines technical aptitude with strong administrative skills, prioritizing safety and service quality to support timely repairs and equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or college certificate required with 3–5 years of relevant experience; a four-year degree is a plus.
• Detail-oriented for managing work orders and departmental paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all Service Department personnel to ensure a high standard of workmanship.
• Oversee lifecycle of work orders from opening to billing.
• Monitor and record time and performance metrics to optimize shop efficiency.
• Coordinate equipment pick-up and delivery for local and field assignments.
• Act as primary customer contact to explain quotes and ensure satisfaction.
• Identify additional services or preventative maintenance opportunities.
• Stay current on OEM programs and technical updates.
• Manage shop inventory and procure supplies.
