Job summary

Accenture Construct seeks a Project Engineer/Office Engineer to support contract administration for transit and public infrastructure projects in Seattle. You will collaborate with a team of project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists, handling submittals, RFIs, payments, and change management, while maintaining documentation in PMIS and dashboards.

Required: a related bachelor's degree and 3+ years of construction administration experience, plus a Washington driver's license.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or another related field.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience as a Project Engineer, Office Engineer, or in a similar construction administration role on transit, transportation, or public infrastructure projects.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license, or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Construction Manager and Resident Engineer with day-to-day contract administration, including reviewing contract requirements and monitoring budgets and costs.
  • Review, track, process, and distribute construction submittals, RFIs, change requests, design submittals, shop drawings, product data, work plans, meeting minutes, and key project correspondence.
  • Review submittals, deliverables, and construction documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements and coordinate reviews and comment resolution.
  • Manage document control and change control processes, maintain project logs and distribution lists, and ensure the official project record is accurate in the PMIS.
  • Maintain current contract documents, including drawings, specifications, approved-for-construction documents, shop drawings, and design revisions.
  • Track and report status of submittals, RFIs, change requests, and technical reviews; prepare dashboards, spreadsheets, meeting minutes, and action item logs.
  • Assist with contractor progress payments, invoices, quantity documentation, and related project records.
  • Assist with change management and contract modifications by maintaining change logs and supporting cost and schedule evaluations.
  • Coordinate with field inspectors and technical staff to monitor construction activities for compliance with requirements, safety standards, permits, and codes.
  • Support project schedule administration by tracking contractor schedules, milestones, look-ahead plans, interfaces, and action items.
  • Analyze drawings and technical documents to support constructability and design reviews by tracking comments and dispositions.
  • Coordinate project documentation with utilities, permitting authorities, testing teams, and transit operations staff.
  • Assist with contract compliance activities for federally funded projects, including Buy America, Davis-Bacon, prevailing wage, and DBE requirements.
  • Prepare project status reports, technical memoranda, correspondence, presentations, estimates, and other materials for clients and leadership.
  • Support contract administration before and after award, including documentation, modifications, inspections, acceptance, and contractor coordination.
  • Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, warranties, and turnover packages.
  • Onsite at client site: work location onsite with our clients and partners; include day and night shifts.

Education
