Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking an Office Engineer to support complex rail construction programs onsite with client teams and partners. You will coordinate document approval, manage change control, and maintain controlled distribution for project documents.

You’ll provide technical support to the Construction Manager, collect review comments, coordinate services with outside agencies, and help prepare closeout documents, meetings, and expediting logs.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience with rail construction projects including swapping out turnouts and automated switches.
• Approximately three years of experience as Office Engineer on large heavy construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or Certificate in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license.
• Competent in using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the approval process for documents and contract changes; manage change control for all project documents.
• Maintain controlled distribution lists and provide technical support to the Construction Manager.
• Receive and compile review comments and manage related records.
• Coordinate services with outside agencies and prepare project closeout documentation.
• Attend and document project meetings; perform expediting functions and maintain an expediting log.
• Onsite at client site with day and night shift assignments.
