Job summary

Morton Buildings is expanding its construction crews and employee owners, offering weekly pay and a $2000 first-year bonus, plus a $500 quarterly bonus during the first year. The role involves 9–10 hour days in peak season, 20% travel, and opportunities for advancement through ESOP and other benefits.

Under a crew foreman, you will learn construction procedures, read plans, and assemble buildings with various materials while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Building construction experience (post-frame, carpentry or framing) preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Available to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Ability to take direction.
• Produce quality work efficiently.
• Agree to safety processes and procedures.
• Maintain and operate construction tools safely.
• Operate specialized safety equipment.
• Lift up to 100 pounds.
• Work in demanding environments and heights up to 40 feet.
• Travel 20% (overnight travel possible).

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures, methods, and standards.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Execute tasks like digging footings, framing walls/roofs, installing windows/doors, and siding/roofing materials.
• Work with crew in a safe, organized, productive environment.
