Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking construction crew members to join our team. Under the guidance of your crew foreman, you will learn and apply safety procedures, read and build according to plans, and use tools to construct buildings across sites.

Compensation includes an hourly wage of $19.00 to $21.00 based on experience, plus a $2000 first-year bonus and a $500 quarterly bonus in the first year. This role may involve extensive travel and ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• Post-frame, carpentry or framing experience preferred (on the job or in school).
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, with occasional 100 pounds.
• Ability to work 9–10 hours during peak construction season.
• Willingness to travel 40% (overnight travel possible).
• Valid driver's license preferred; Class A CDL highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Learn, keep current with and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize various tools and equipment to construct buildings.
• Dig and install footings, frame walls and roof structures, install doors/windows and siding.
• Work with crew to maintain a safe, organized and respectful work environment.
