Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding our construction crews. Earn an additional $2000 your first year and a $500 quarterly bonus during your first year. Pay is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, with weekly pay, and travel up to 15% of the time.

Under the crew foreman, learn and apply safety and construction procedures, read plans, use tools, and build according to designs. Benefits include ESOP, life insurance, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction (post-frame), carpentry or framing preferred (on the job or in school).
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Standard weight lifting requirements – 50 pounds, up to 100 pounds.
• Capable of working in a physically demanding environment and at heights up to 40 feet.

Responsibilities

• Learn, keep current with and apply safety and construction procedures, methods, and standards.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize various tools and equipment to safely and efficiently construct buildings.
• Execute tasks such as digging and installing footings, framing walls/roofs, installing windows/doors, and siding/roofing materials.
• Work with crew personnel in a safe, organized environment with dignity and respect.
