Job summary

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow and strengthen client relationships in Northern California from the San Francisco area. The role involves presenting strengthening solutions, engaging with engineering and contracting partners, and driving sales through CRM-driven follow-up and proposals.

The ideal candidate has a civil/structural engineering or construction management background with 5+ years of relevant experience and a proven track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering or construction management.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering, construction and/or technical sales experience.
• Experience building client relationships in the commercial market.
• Experience selling specialty construction services or products preferred.
• Knowledge of the San Francisco market and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and strengthen existing client relationships in Northern California (SF Bay Area).
• Present strengthening solutions to potential clients after training.
• Lead or participate in meetings and follow up on inquiries from presentations.
• Support sales on high-value projects and manage leads from Marketing.
• Assist with proposals, bid packages, and CRM updates; travel as needed.
