Job summary

PULLMAN, a Structural Group Company, is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow our presence in the Greater Pittsburgh market. You will develop relationships with owners, engineers, architects, property managers, and contractors across commercial, healthcare, higher education, and technology markets.

Based in the Pittsburgh area with 70-80% travel, you will manage opportunities from initial contact through proposal and award, leveraging Salesforce for pipeline and forecasting to drive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business development or sales experience in commercial construction.
• Strong network and established relationships in Greater Pittsburgh construction market.
• Experience calling on owners, engineers, architects, property managers, and contractors.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with owners, engineers, architects, property managers, and contractors in Greater Pittsburgh.
• Identify, qualify and pursue new project opportunities within commercial construction, repair, and restoration.
• Manage opportunities and maintain pipeline in Salesforce.
• Develop pursuit and capture strategies with operations, estimating, and technical teams.
• Support proposal strategy and development to showcase capabilities.
• Coordinate prequalification, vendor registrations and other client qualifications.
• Lead sales presentations and client meetings at industry events.
• Collaborate with operations and technical teams on innovative solutions.
• Track pursuits and forecast activity to support planning and growth.
• Manage BD process from opportunity ID to proposal, negotiation and award.
