Job summary

Ledgent is seeking a Billing Specialist to support commercial construction projects from our Irvine office. You will prepare, submit, and track progress billings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.

The role collaborates with Project Managers, sales, and contractor contacts to manage pay applications and lien documentation efficiently. The ideal candidate has 1–2+ years in construction billing, proficiency with Excel, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in construction billing, AR, or related field.
• Experience with progress billing and AIA G702/G703 forms preferred.
• Knowledge of lien waiver requirements and billing compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly progress billings (AIA G702/G703) for projects.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to verify work, change orders, and amounts.
• Track billing status and follow up on submittals and payments.
• Prepare lien waivers and other compliance documentation.
• Maintain accurate billing records in company systems.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and support collections.
