Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball in Conyers, GA is seeking a Construction Accounting & Billing Specialist to support the project management team by billing customers and ensuring timely payment according to contract terms.

You will audit billings for accuracy, maintain billing templates, coordinate with project managers, monitor AR aging, and assist with job setup and closeout in a fast-paced construction office.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong understanding of AR and billing processes.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction office environment.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.

Responsibilities

• Prepare payment requisitions for projects and related billing.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on billing timing and schedules.
• Follow up to ensure payments are received in a timely manner.
• Resolve receivable issues with Accounts Receivable and customers.
• Maintain and update billing templates and schedules.
• Enter change orders and ensure proper support attached to job profiles.
• Monitor AR aging to optimize collections and minimize underbilling.
• Close out completed jobs and prepare final invoicing as required.
