Actalent is seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Construction in Shakopee, MN. This contract-to-hire role supports the Construction Project Management team across the full project life cycle, coordinating documentation, purchasing, scheduling, and client communication.

You will work with project managers and superintendents to plan activities, review plans, prepare estimates, and maintain schedules. A candidate with 2+ years in construction management thrives in this office-based role with

Qualifications

• Experience in construction management or project management.
• Exposure to fixture installations or rollout work preferred.
• Experience with permits, licenses, submittals, RFIs and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers to set objectives, scope and deliverables.
• Manage project documentation including permits, licenses, RFIs, and change orders.
• Coordinate purchasing of materials, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules with milestones.
• Track progress and report to Project Managers and leadership.
