Job summary

Roers Companies in Plymouth, MN seeks a Construction Assistant Project Manager to support the construction team across pre-construction and active projects, coordinating tasks, procurement, and field communication.

You will work under the Project Manager to ensure schedules, safety, and quality, manage Procore documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders, and assist with monthly draws and estimation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 1–3 years of related experience or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• Experience in multifamily or commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support daily project coordination with the construction team.
• Communicate schedules, methods, safety, quality standards to subcontractors and staff.
• Procurement of construction materials, tools and equipment as required.
• Interact with Architects, Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, Landscape, Utility Consultants, Soils Engineers and others.
• Review progress, cost reports, schedules, and requirements for completion to support the PM.
• Maintain Procore site, Submittals & Transmittals, RFIs and Change Orders.
• Assist in project estimation and pre-construction activities.
• Coordinate with PM and Accounting for monthly draws.
• Assist in reviewing and verifying payment applications monthly.
• Prepare meeting minutes for OAC meetings.
• Ensure site and company assets are secure and maintain a safe working environment.
