Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction initiatives from our Shakopee, MN office. You will coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include developing detailed schedules, defining scope, preparing bids, managing teams and subcontractors, and controlling project budgets. Occasional travel and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Project management with construction focus and strong scheduling skills.
• Experience in construction management, change orders, and coordination.
• Knowledge of commercial construction, docs, and contracts.
• 4-year Construction Management degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects; coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project schedules with milestones and deliverables.
• Define scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Prepare bids/proposals and present to leadership for approval.
• Create project plans and manage execution for on-time delivery.
• Recruit and coordinate internal teams and subcontractors.
• Manage budgets and align with contracts and targets.
• Monitor progress; report to leadership; oversee change management.
• Review vendor invoices; analyze variances and lessons learned.
• Travel to job sites as needed; support nights/weekends when required.
